Léïc Godbout grandit entre Québec, Ottawa et l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard. Il étudie ensuite à l’École d’architecture de l’Université Laval, à celle de Grenoble puis à Hà Nôi au Vietnam. Après avoir été stagiaire dans différents bureaux d’architectes à Lausanne, Montréal et Saint-Hyacinthe, il travaille à Gatineau, Trois-Rivières et Québec, où il a aidé pendant près d’une quinzaine d’années de vieux édifices attachants à poursuivre leur chemin. Il se penche depuis sur les failles de bâtiments de toutes les époques.

Léïc Godbout grew up between Québec City, Ottawa and Prince Edward Island. He studied at both Laval University and Grenoble schools of architecture, and then in Hanoi, Vietnam. Following internships in various architectural firms in Lausanne, Montréal and Saint-Hyacinthe, he worked in Gatineau, Trois-Rivières, and Québec City, where he helped fort almost fifteen years captivating, historic buildings continue their journey. He nows investigates flaws in constructions from every era.
